Help us improve this resource
We would like to invite you to participate in a study of user perception and engagement with this open educational eBook, Foundations of Biomedical Science, published through the La Trobe Library eBureau.
This is a relatively new resource, and we would like to understand how it is being used by students (and educators) and if it is has broader applicability to other courses. We would also like to use feedback from this survey to improve a future edition of this eBook as well as inform other open education projects.
Foundations of Biomedical Science is an open education resource. Open education resources are teaching, learning, and research materials that are free to use, share, and adapt. They are important because they can make education more accessible and inclusive. However, at the moment we do not have a lot of information about how open education resources are being used or how effective they are. We would like to use this survey data to help improve this resource as well help inform future open education projects. Regardless, of whether you are a student or teacher we would greatly appreciate your input.
The survey will take about 10 minutes of your time but will help us enormously in improving this resource and potentially with other free, open education resources.
The survey is completely voluntary, and we will not collect any identifiable information about you. Your feedback will be anonymous, and we will collate and aggregate all information before we conduct any analysis ensuring you will not be identifiable from your responses.
Regardless of whether you participate or not it will not affect your relationship with La Trobe University. Also, we value any feedback or opinions you provide to us and the nature of those won’t affect your relationship with La Trobe University or any other listed organisation. Participation (or non-participation) has no impact on your grades, assessments, or university standing.
