Acknowledgement of Country

The authors gratefully acknowledge the traditional owners of the lands on which we live, learn, teach, research, and write from today – the Wurundjeri people of the Kulin Nation. We pay our respects to elders past and present and future, and recognise that Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples are Australia’s first storytellers, artists, communities and creators of culture. We recognise their continuing connection to the land and waters and acknowledge that they never ceded sovereignty.
