Description: The sections show liver tissue with marked fibrosis and formation of regenerative nodules, consistent with cirrhosis. There is evidence of mild to moderate chronic inflammation. No evidence of dysplasia or malignancy is seen.

Impression: Cirrhosis, Stage 4 (Batts-Ludwig).
