CT abdomen

Abdomen CT with intravenous contrast administration. Scan performed supine.

The liver, spleen, pancreas, adrenals and kidneys have a normal appearance. The small bowel presents decreased jejunal folds, intestinal wall thickening, and occasional dilatations, indicative of inflammatory process of uncertain origin. The large bowel is unremarkable, with no faecal loading or dilation. Mesenteric lymphadenopathy is identified. No free fluid or gas is seen. Vascular structures are normal.

Conclusion: Small intestine inflammation of uncertain origin/significance. Clinical correlation required.
