Her interest lies in the effect of different contaminants in our waters and their effects on water quality and different species, as well as marine stewardship and education surrounding fishing and aquatic environments. Gabby was a participant in the Students as Partners program consulting student peers and designing interactive resources. Gabby is a co-creator of H5P activities in all chapters.
Miss Georgia Williams
Georgia completed her Bachelor of Environmental Science (Honours) degree at Deakin University with her research project focused on greenlip abalone behaviour following marine heatwave exposure. Georgia has been at Deakin University, Warrnambool, since early 2020 and has seen first-hand shifts in course schooling following the COVID-19 pandemic. To provide insight on student experiences, Georgia participated in the Students as Partners initiative to liaise with fellow Marine Science students to aid in the production of interactive teaching resources for future undergraduates.
