About the Authors

Catherine M. Doughty (AFHEA, ALIANZA, RLIANZA, BCA, MLIS, PG Dip Ed) is the Law Subject Librarian at Te Herenga Waka—Victoria University of Wellington. Catherine is an ardent supporter for working collaboratively with teaching staff to build information literacy skill development into course curricula. She is passionate that students and researchers become critically thinking information users.

Marcus Harvey (NZLS Cert, MLIS) is Manager Academic Engagement at Te Pātaka Kōrero—The Library, Te Herenga Waka—Victoria University of Wellington supporting academic and student learning, teaching and research needs. Taking a collaborative approach to guiding people and organisations to unlock their potential, he has over 30 years of leading innovative and transformative change across a broad range of libraries and functions.

Peter Quin (MA Hons, MLIS, MA Teach) is the Team Leader in the Academic Engagement Team at Te Pātaka Kōrero—The Library, Te Herenga Waka—Victoria University of Wellington. With a background in both librarianship and teaching, he supports subject librarians and champions collaborative approaches to learning and engagement.

Philip Worthington (BA, DipLibr) is a Subject Librarian for the Wellington School of Business and Government at Te Herenga Waka—Victoria University of Wellington. Philip leads the Library Open Educational Resources Working Group. He works closely with staff and students providing teaching, learning, and research support, including research consultancy services and training in literature searching and research skills.
