Acknowledgement of Country

The University of Newcastle Library acknowledges the traditional custodians of the lands within our footprint areas: the Awabakal, Darkinjung, Biripai, Worimi, Wonnarua, and Eora Nations. We also pay respect to the wisdom of our Elders past and present. We extend that respect to all Aboriginal, Torres Strait Islander, and other First Nations peoples who use this resource.

We acknowledge that sovereignty was never ceded. This always was, and always will be, Aboriginal land.
