Review Statement
Cultural Safety in Health was published by the Council of Australasian University Libraries and the Queensland University of Technology. Textbooks undergo peer review from subject area experts.
This book has been peer reviewed by subject experts from a several higher education institutions. Each chapter was reviewed by at least one of the book co-authors, who were not actively involved in the development and writing of the chapter. The entire book then underwent double-blind peer review by an expert in the field.
Reviews were structured around considerations of the intended audience of the textbook and examined the comprehensiveness, accuracy and relevance of content. Changes suggested by the reviewer were mainly around adding additional examples and explanations and were incorporated by the chapter authors prior to publication.
The authors would like to thank the reviewer for the time, care and commitment they contributed to the project. We recognise that peer reviewing is a generous act of service on their part. This textbook would not be the robust, valuable resource that it is were it not for their feedback and input.
