7. The Path Ahead

This chapter has sought to offer law students guidance in the ways of handling the legal tools of substantive and procedural law to the law-job end of litigation. It offers practical tips and techniques on how to plan, prepare and conduct climate change PIL. These tips and techniques draw on the knowledge and experience of senior environmental litigators. They are not a substitute for experiential learning on the job, but hopefully they light a path that can beneficially be followed by a student aspiring to be a climate conscious lawyer.
