3.1 Overview

This chapter focuses on the measurement of in-situ concrete for elements such as blinding, footings, slabs, walls, columns, and beams, where a distinction is made between plain and reinforced concrete. The chapter details the relevant technical specifications, applicable measurement rules, and the measurement process using CostX software.

Note: Precast concrete items are a different type of concrete and are not measured within the scope of the current chapter.
