Review Statement

Swinburne University of Technology published Australian Designs Law, which has undergone peer review by two subject experts from different law schools. Both reviewers—academics with specialist knowledge in intellectual property law—conducted an open review of the full text based on their expertise.

The review considered the book’s intended audience and assessed its comprehensiveness, accuracy, relevance, longevity, cultural significance, clarity, consistency, structural organisation, flow, and grammatical accuracy. The authors incorporated the reviewers’ suggested changes.

We sincerely thank the review team for their time, care, and commitment to this project. Peer review is a generous act of service, and without their valuable feedback and input, this textbook would not be the robust and valuable resource it is today.

Reviewers included:

  • Associate Professor Catherine Bond (UNSW)
  • Associate Professor Vicki Huang (Deakin)
